Slackware Packages

This is the list of packages for Slackware / ARMedslack

These packages can be installed normally with the Slackware pkgtool utility.

To see a short description of each package, hover your mouse over the name and it should appear.

All packages have a link to the original homepage of the program and to the sources. The script to build the package is always included and installed in the /usr/doc/{program}-{version}/ directory. Most build scripts have been submitted to the SlackBuilds.org repository and a link to it's page is provided as soon as the script is accepted.

Checksum and signature

To check the integrity of the downloaded package, download the checksum (<name_of_package>.md5) and use this command:

$ md5sum -c <name_of_package>.md5

You can also download a gpg signature file for each package. It is called <name_of_package>.asc My public gpg key can be downloaded here or by using the command:

$ gpg --search-keys 'niels dot horn at gmail dot com'

(putting my real e-mail address, of course). After importing my public key, you can verify the package with:

$ gpg --verify <name_of_package>.asc
